Certified Nursing Assistant

At Connecting Paths Medical Skills Training Academy, we provide a professional 94.5 hour Certified Nursing Assistant training course over a 3 week timeframe. The combination of our classroom instruction, skills lab demonstrations and active clinical participation helps prepare students to pass the skills, and written state exam to become certified. Day classes currently available, but if you are interested in Evening classes please let us know, as we are putting that course together also.

Rented Book, Uniform for Clinicals, Blood Pressure kit

Age 16 or older. Under 18 must have parent permission.
Clean Background Check
Negative TB or Chest X-ray
High School Disploma or GED are good, but not required.
Valid Government Id and Social Security Card (legal citizenship documentation)
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.

3 week program
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
2 days of clinicals during this timeframe

Certified Phlebotomy Technicians

Our program provides virtual and formal classroom instruction, skills lab demonstration and clinical participation. Our phlebotomy training course gives hands-on training to teach you how to draw blood correctly and teach the skills you need to pass the National Phlebotomy exam (not mandatory for Arkansas, but highly recommended).

Age 18 or older

4 week program of Online practical work with in-person skills training on select weekends.

BLS or Heartsaver (CPR)

At Connecting Paths, we offer hands-on Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is a lifesaving technique used in many emergency situations such as a heart attack, choking, sudden cardiac arrest or even near drowning experiences. Learning CPR consists of chest compressions, using an AED, and artificial ventilation for all ages; baby, child, and adult because you never know who will need you and when they will need you. We also offer Friend and Family classes to provide to large groups.
